It's me, know far but not wide at the Author.
So... The title promises an adventure. A tale. My prologue. Just a warning, it isn't really that great of a prologue, so don't get too excited. I know I've been kind of bad at posting lately, but life has been busy, and full of great excuses NOT to post. :) So there is my excuse... Now, I'll bet you really want my prologue, don't you? Or... perhaps not. Either way, you're going to get it. So here it is:

Prologue
Unease
in Aelsu
He
was tall. He was dark. He was Auger Edmeire. He had come for Aelsu.
Leanne
stepped out of the boat to the rocky beach to stand beside her
husband. She smiled, her teeth flashing in the pale moonlight. “It
is a fine place, my husband,” she murmured, “a fitting kingdom
for you.”
Auger
smiled. “And for you, my love,” he said.
Leanne
nodded and turned back to the boat. “Aracora—bring your things.
We're going now.”
A
young woman took a sack of things from the boat and rolled her eyes,
which shone blue in the moonlight. Her black hair was streaked with
red, and her skin an attractive tan. She smiled. “We're coming,
Aelsu. You better be ready.” Aracora threw her head back and
laughed.
*****
Far
across Aelsu, to deep in Lia Forest, an old woman awoke from her
sleep. What is it?
she asked God silently.
They
are coming, Rayeh,
His voice resonated deep within her.
Rayeh
sat up. What can I
do, my King?
Warn
them.
The Voice said, then it was gone. Rayeh frowned and stood. She packed
quickly, then went out and saddled her horse. She mounted the horse
and kicked it into a gallop. Maybe she would reach them in time.
They'd stop the catastrophe that lurked.
Their troubles
were only beginning.
